Great grilling addition
Weber 2290 22-1/2-Inch Charcoal Kettle Rotisserie

This rotisserie is easy to use and easy to clean up and put away. I've tried it for a small roast (sirloin tip) and a good-sized chicken (4 lbs.)and it reduced cooking times for both while cooking evenly, keeping the meat juicy and getting a nice brown exterior. Be careful - the roast beef was done in a little over 40 minutes for a 3 1/2 lb roast. It cooks more quickly than an oven or regular indirect cooking on the grill.
This is really easy to set up too. There's a counterweight that attaches easily to the handle of the spit, so you don't have to worry too much about centering the meat perfectly. The motor seems to work easily. I thought I would need an extension cord because the cord on the motor is so short, but it's long enough so I can keep the grill a safe distance from the garage. I am looking forward to trying this for a larger roast or for duck or turkey.
I would definitely buy this again, and I would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who likes charcoal grilling and has a 22 1/2 in. Weber kettle.
